The philosophical school of Realcommunism Being engaged in the eternal and permanent process of self-cognition and self-development, now humanity has come to the point of revolutionising the teaching of communism and creating the theory and actuality of pragmatic Realcommunism – the true and realistic communism, which has nothing in common with the utopias of Idealcommunism. The newest rational and absolutely pragmatic philosophy of Realcommunism is the aufhebung (the sublation) of Marxist communism. Now the task is to establish a powerful philosophical school of pragmatic Realcommunism able to propose radically new and true philosophical ideas. The fate of the Marxist principle cannot be different from the fate of all other principles. Each principle is dominant in a certain epoch of human development as long as humanity realises that it is not the highest and truest determination of the absolute ends of Man. Its aufhebung (sublation) is unavoidable: it is not simply disproved and superseded but it is contained and preserved in the new higher principle that replaces it. Realcommunism is the sublation of Marxist communism, which still belongs to the childhood of humanity; its time has gone. Naturally, in the beginning humanity was fated to create the mythology of abstract Utopian or Idealcommunism: the myth about the communist paradise, the myth about the communist horn of plenty, the myth about the classless society, the myth about communist statelessness, etc. And quite naturally, Realcommunism – the modern absolutely pragmatic communism, – can only appear when it sublates the principles of primitive abstract Idealcommunism. Of course, the immortal and history-making deeds of the communists from Plato to Marx and their great struggles are not to be forgotten. We have every right to say what Hegel used to say about Christian religion: that it is not possible that for more than 2000 years the human reason has not dealt with the rational. The human spirit can't have been dealing with something untrue for more than 2000 years; such thinking would be completely disrespectful to human nature as the supreme form of the living absolute. Hegel wanted to cognise the true in Christian religion and he succeeded in cognising it. As for communism, today we say in much the same manner as Hegel that it is utterly impossible for the human Rational Will not to have wanted and dealt with the highest moment of its profoundly volitional nature – the will for communist ethics; and that is precisely the reason why the will for humanism has raised it as its flag. Marx's communism was just a moment of the movement of the World Will towards humanism. Marxist communism has been sublated practically and theoretically. There is an absolute necessity for Realcommunism to go beyond the theoretical communism created by Plato and Marx. Utopian Plato and Marx's communism belongs to the childhood of humanity; their communism is the abstract beginning of the science of communism. Yet, due to the fact that the philosophical education of modern humanity is at such a pitifully low level, our contemporaries take it for granted that Marxist communism is the highest development of the science of communism; the degree of their blissful ignorance is amazing. How on Earth Marx's teaching of communism can be considered to be the highest summit of philosophical communism, the science of communism as such? Does this fact not speak volumes for the despicable status of modern philosophy and the philosophical self-consciousness of the new generations as well as the absolutely unsatisfactory power of their rational will for true freedom? On the other hand, is it not monstrously, ridiculously naive that Stalinism is still considered to be the praxis, the practical implementation of the science of communism? How preposterous! This pathetic idea indicates how wrong, absolutely wrong the state of the spirit and the will of modern times is – a terrible misunderstanding! – for Stalinism was the opposite of communism; it was pure anti-communism. The Stalinists became the gravediggers of the great ideal of humanity. They betrayed it. They were anti-communists. Realcommunism is predestined to create the theoretical sublation (aufhebung) of both Marxist communism and Stalinism. Creating a new philosophical school of rational Realcommunism is a must. We do not have to be prone to self-deception. We are not going to win our case today. Or tomorrow. It took the great French thinkers – Montesquieu, Voltaire and especially Rousseau, whose ideas the French Revolution tried to put into practice – a lot of time to awaken and inspire the masses against the social injustice of the absolute monarchy. We definitely need time to educate and prepare the people of the 21st and 22nd century to implement the ideology of a new absolutely rational Realcommunism, which expresses the absolute needs of humanity for it is thoroughly based on Hegelian speculative philosophy. The idea of Realcommunism – the post-capitalist economic and political order, which will supersede capitalism, – must be examined with scrupulous honesty. Yet, superseding capitalism means nothing less but preserving all its positive features. Marx was utterly wrong to create just a total abstract negation of capitalism. His works were presented to the proletariat as the science of communism; unfortunately, they were not. Right are all those modern thinkers who think that Marxism is relevant to interpreting the contemporary capitalist world; yet, today it is simply not enough. The point is that when it comes to communism, the logic of Marxism has not much in common with the logic of the real world. Never did Marx create a science of communism. Never was he close to creating a science of communism; never was there a truly scientific communism. We have to develop this science. The present total crisis of the Left is based on the fact that the huge majority of radical contemporary Leftists are dogmatically blinded by their belief that Marx's doctrine of communism is still relevant in the new millennium but this is what dogmatists always do, don't they? They do not have the guts, the intellectual courage to question their Teacher. As a result all modern genuinely Left parties and organisations have neither a cohesive vision nor a good programme how to build a post-capitalist political and economic order. In fact, the new radical Left movement must offer a credible, coherent and comprehensive alternative to neo-liberal capitalism. There is no doubt that until we present the contemporary proletariat such a vision, it will be as indifferent as it is now. All modern revolutions began in the domain of philosophy and social theory. The task of the philosophical school of Realcommunism is to come with new highly-ethical revolutionary ideas and change the way of thinking of every sovereign People. This is the mission of modern philosophy. This is its great chance to overcome its profound modern crisis. It is a great honour and pleasure for me to invite all radical humanist philosophers to join and establish a group of thinkers known as the Realcommunists to make a case against laissez-faire classical liberalism and in favour of freedom of the total political community in political, economic and cultural life. An international philosophical school which is dedicated to promoting a new Realcommunist ideology and the foundation of radical direct Realcommunist democracy is needed.
